A Note From
I often think of the apostle Paul's words to the Colossians. "Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth."
It is so important that we hold very lightly to the things in this life. When I was a little boy I had a picture that hung above my bed saying, "one life will soon be past, but only what's done for Christ will last."
So many things are "here today, and gone tomorrow".
Just what those little termites intend to do to my floor.
"Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, 20 but layup for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. 21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."
