A NOTE FROM PASTOR ROGER – 9/7/16

Cracks.
Those destructive, unsightly little cracks.
At first you can hardly tell, then little by little they begin to expand.
Time takes it's toll.
Soon, what was once stable, strong and resistant begins to collapse...to fall apart and be flawed.

I built a nice retention wall in my backyard that stood for years. Little by little, the rains came and the trickles of water began their unnoticeable path of destruction.
Drip by drip, droplets of water eventually banded together to erode a once sturdy foundation.

I am generally pretty proactive about fixing things like that.
I actually noticed it's demise and prevented a greater problem months back. But of course, water has a way of finding another "weak link" and takes no prisoners.
I am hoping that the 400 pounds of cement I added will stand the test of time.

Cracks!
In this life we will all battle those destructive droplets of pride, unforgiveness and judgment. The list is endless.
Droplets left unattended will eventually erode the best of relationships, productivity and peace.

There is no time to waste. Is there a crack in your life or relationships that needs attention? Is there something that you are dealing with that has the potential to continue to become a greater divide?  Fix the crack.

"Catch the foxes for us, the little foxes that spoil the vineyards, for our vineyards are in blossom.”
Song of Solomon 2:15
