A Note From
I remember a few times as a young boy, getting in a little over my head.
Many of those times, my father was nearby for a quick rescue. Once, we had a family fun day of swimming at Lithia Springs, a beautiful natural spring in South Florida. I remember wandering off and stepping on a piece of glass that cut pretty deeply into the bottom of my foot. There my father was, picking me up and hauling me off for repair.
Another time, my foot decided to find a rusty old-nail sticking out of board that went right through the bottom of my shoe and into my heel. There he was, picking me up and hauling me off for repair.
We can sure get a lot of bumps and bruises in this life, can't we? It's just part of life. But you know what? God is always there, our loving father, picking us up, carrying us off for repair. Bringing healing to our wounds.
"Even to your old age and gray hairs I am he, I am he who will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you."
