A Note From
Pastor Roger

There is a wonderful hymn that I have sung since I was a young child. I'm not sure why, but I've been singing it to myself most recently. There is something special about this song.

It doesn't matter the situation, the pressure, the urgency of the moment, it brings me great comfort. It brings things into perspective in a world that is pretty much filled with chaos. That this is not our home.

It's amazing, when you focus your eyes on Jesus, everything else seems to dim. All of a sudden, "whatever it is" just isn't as overwhelming.
Eternal perspective is vital in the life of every believer.

Give it a try.
Sing those words.

"Turn your eyes upon Jesus, look full in his wonderful face, and the things of earth, will grow strangely dim in the light of his glory and grace."

(John 14:1-3)
"Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. In my Father's house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you?  And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you."
