A Note From
I answered the phone and heard my daughters screams on the other end.
Evidently, there is this persistent little rat that's been trying to break in to my daughters home.
Certainly, it's much more comfortable inside then out in the mean cruel world...where there's cats!
Night after night, this persistent rat returns to the very same spot and tries to chew its way through the wall. Nothing stealth about it, he makes a lot of noise and wants in.
Yeah, he's persistent, but so am I, trust me.
I will get that rascal!
Speaking of persistence, it reminds me of the story in Luke 18:1-8.
You got it, the persistent widow.
Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and NOT give up. That widow, absolutely wore the judge out.
Even though that judge did not even fear God or like people, he gave that lady justice. She just wouldn't go away.
Is there a situation in your own life that needs persistence in prayer?
I want to encourage you, don't give up!
