A Note From
Actually, that little item kind of speaks to my heart. It is something that was probably on its way to be discarded or at least seen as unusable. Then came the heat. Gosh that must have hurt! Flattened like a pancake.
The heat, pressure..... the change. Never the same, yet, an item to be displayed and admired. That's what I want to be. That's what God wants us to be. A gift. A gift to those we touch in this life.
Yes, often the process was accompanied with torrential winds, rain and often LOTS of HEAT. You're actually even a bit more usable. Maybe even the "life of the party." Friends will enjoy various "little delicacies" on that flattened bottle..... now a platter. Kinda cool, huh?
(Matthew 7:25) The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock.
