A Note From
Did you know that the devil knows when to approach us with temptation? The devil always chooses an "opportune time."
There are 2 particular times when we are the most vulnerable:
First, it's in a time of CONQUEST.
Maybe a point of success or a wonderful blessing.
Perhaps it's on the heels of some great spiritual victory. The devil knows when we are off guard, excited, or invincible.
It could be an ego, pride. "I'm so gifted, talented...... this ministry or mission would crumble without me". Maybe it's... "they would not have even been saved without me"
The second opportune time is in the time of CRISIS.
You're tired, exhausted, sad, discouraged or frustrated. The devil knows these times and chooses to take advantage of that.
After Jesus fasted for 40 days, that's when the devil decided to attack.
Jesus was hungry, tired and weak. Maybe it's your busy week, or a stressful week.
You're at the end of your rope.
Let's stay ready, and let's stay armed!
After fasting forty days and forty nights, he was hungry. The tempter came to him and said, "If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become bread."
