A Note From

Pressure cookers. A handy little item to have in your kitchen arsenal when it comes to cooking things fast.

I was thinking about that little appliance a few days ago. I’m sure that you’ve heard it said, “life can be like a pressure cooker”.

There are little things in life (and BIG things) that can begin to build up pressure, until we are about to explode or at least blow off a little bit of steam.

Without that vital valve which allows the steam to escape, the pot would surely explode.

So here’s my thought...
I want to be like that little valve in the lives of people.

All too often, there are many around us where life is simply unbearable. Those within our realm of influence overwhelmed and in despair by a vast array of situations and circumstances.

Proverbs 16:24 says:
"Gracious words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones."

Maybe you need to be that word of hope for somebody today. Maybe you need to be that ray of sunshine to their soul, that “little valve“ that is a relief to the buildup of pressure in someones deep pain.

Oh yea, by the way, do you want to fulfill the “Law of Christ”?

Galatians 6:2 says" ”Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ”
