A Note From
Did you ever consider boasting about all your weaknesses? You know, all those imperfections that continually plague you?
To be honest, I sure don’t. I kind of want to forget about all my weaknesses and find myself endlessly working on all my imperfections.
Bottom line...I see no value in any of my imperfections.
Did you know that the apostle Paul finally came to the conclusion that God would be MORE visible and more powerful in his life when he realistically accepted all of his imperfections and gave them to God?
Paul discovered that God could actually be glorified and Paul could actually get more done when giving those imperfections to an Almighty God.
2 Corinthians 12:9-10 says: But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will BOAST (my caps) all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
Wow, content? That seems like accepting yourself fully to me!
Yes, in your weakness, he is strong. He is evident and powerful. God actually sees an opportunity to get glory. To be seen...to be marveled at.
Whats your weakness? Glory in it and watch God move with his power instead.
