A Note From
On Sunday morning, I shared a story of "a broken glass". So, I figured I'd show you the actual glass.
The story goes that as I was cleaning out the car recently, I discovered a glass that was left on the back floor. I'm sure you can relate, those annoying items that are always clanking around as you drive.
As I continued to tidy up the car, putting other items into the glass, it broke becoming an unusable item.
No longer would water be able to flow out of the rim. It would always flow from the lowest point.
So often with the hardships we face in this life, we can feel like that broken glass. We wonder if we will we ever be able to be filled to the rim again. We can easily live our lives, believing our joy and peace and fulfillment is only as possible as " that last lowest point".
God wants to take the broken pieces of your life, melt it all down and re-fire a brand new glass. Complete!! Usable!! That's what God does ... He takes all the cracks and brokenness and makes sure you know you have been repaired so you can live a life, "filled to the rim".
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
