Join us at Generation 101!

 

Generation 101 is a class where you can meet our pastors and staff, learn more about who we are, what we do, and discover how you can get involved at Generation Church.

What time and where?

 

The session begins at 10am on the 2nd floor, between services. It's only 30 minutes long, so you can attend right after the first service or arrive a little early to join before the second service starts. Either way, you won't miss a service! The 2nd floor is accessible via the elevator or stairwell.

How do I sign up? 

 

No need to sign up! Generation 101 is offered every Sunday, so you can simply show up, and a pastor will be there to greet you. We look forward to meeting you!

 

*Childcare is available during Generation 101. If you have children, we recommend arriving a bit early to check them in on the third floor before the class begins.

• Welcome and Introduction: Learn about Generation Church’s mission and vision from Lead Pastor Roger Hirth, who will guide you through the heart of our church.

 

• Our Story: Discover the history of Generation Church, from our start in the historic Rex Theatre in Pensacola to our growth as a community of faith and hope.

 

• Core Purpose: Understand our purpose statement inspired by 2 Timothy 4:7, which calls us to be “Firm in the Faith, Fulfill the Call, and Finish Well.

 

• Firm in Faith: Explore what it means to stand strong in Biblical truth, anchored in God’s Word, so you can live a resilient Christian life through every season.

 

• Sunday Worship: Get a feel for our Sunday services, where engaging worship and messages encourage you to deepen your faith and bring others to share the experience.

 

• Family Ministries: Learn about our commitment to the next generation, with dedicated programs that build strong biblical foundations for children and families.

 

• Community and Groups: See how our groups and ministries create opportunities for meaningful connections, spiritual growth, and lifelong friendships.

 

• Fulfill Your Calling: Discover ways to use your unique gifts to serve by joining our crew. We say “Serve One Service / Attend One Service” so you never have to miss church. You will also have opportunities to join us on mission trips.

 

• Giving and Generosity: Hear about the value of giving as an act of faith, while knowing that all are welcome regardless of financial contributions.

 

• Finishing Well: Learn how we emphasize living with consistency, connection, and strength in faith, so we can all "finish well" in our walk with Christ.
