At Generation we have a solid pastoral team and support staff. Here is a little bit of our story - We’d love to hear yours!

Our pastors

Roger Hirth
Lead Pastor
Pastor Roger leads the charge at Generation with the vision of the church. He holds master’s degrees in Divinity and Theology, and he has a background in foreign missions. He and his wife, Teresa, were missionaries to Romania for 10 years, and they have three children and two grandchildren. One of Pastor Roger’s favorite quotes is from C.T. Studd, “Some wish to live within the sound of Church or Chapel bell; I want to run a Rescue Shop within a yard of hell.”
Bryan Ost
Associate Pastor
Pastor Bryan is entrusted with leading the worship team and bringing Generation into an atmosphere of Christ-centered worship. He is also a part of the Pastoral Teaching team. Born in Mexico, Bryan grew up in France, where his parents are missionaries and where he met his wife, Helene. Bryan and Helene pastored a church in France for 10 years before relocating to the US. They have three children, Elyana, Jesse, and Maddie. Pastor Bryan’s life motto is “Guard your heart; be all there; aim for the fences; have no regrets."
Brian Stocks
Associate Pastor
Pastor Brian loves connecting people to a relationship with Jesus, partnering with them to take their next step in their journey, and helping those who call Generation Church home to join a team, find community, and make an impact. Brian and his wife, Keanne, started their ministry as missionaries to Mali, Africa and transitioned to pastoral ministry back home in Atlanta, Ga. before relocating with their two daughters, Paton and Piper, to Pensacola, Fla. Brian’s life goals are to live deep, be generous, create culture, and build community. His favorite quote is "The best is yet to come" -Wayne Gretzky -Michael Scott
Greg Sexton
Care Pastor
Pastor Greg oversees the Care ministries of the church which includes leading our prayer teams and conducting hospital visits. Pastor Greg and his family were founding members when the church began in 1996. He holds a master’s degree in Religious Education as well as a bachelor’s in Music Performance and Voice. Greg and his wife, Betty, have been married since 1981, and they have three children and eight grandchildren. Pastor Greg’s favorite Bible verse is Matthew 6:33. “Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.”
Adam Sexton
Family Ministries Pastor
Pastor Adam is responsible for all ministry teams from birth through high school. His focus is to lead Generation’s kids and families into a deep, long lasting relationship with Jesus. He and his wife, Chelsey, have five children, and they run their family flooring business. Adam’s favorite quote is from Robert Brault: “Enjoy the little things because one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.”
Ray Grubbs
Online Campus Pastor
Pastor Ray helps connect our online campus to the Generation Church family and their next steps. Ray and his wife, Danielle, and their two children have a desire to serve God, as a family, through the local church and international missions. His favorite quote is from a past mentor, Stephen Goulet: “This is why we do what we do. To cause life to flow abundantly to and in the people of God. We tote buckets of water from the cross and give it to His people.”
Joshua Stewart
Pastor, Finance Administrator
Pastor Josh and Jennifer have been actively part of Generation for many years, serving in numerous roles and ministry areas. In late 2020, they were called by God to Medford, Oregon where they reside with their children. Josh serves remotely for the church as Finance Administrator, and he visits Pensacola periodically to preach and connect. One of Josh’s favorite quotes is from holocaust survivor, Corey Ten Boom: "It is not my ability, but my response to God's ability, that counts."
Taylor Kilcoyne
Youth Pastor
Pastor Taylor is passionate about seeing the young people of Generation Church meet God, discover their calling, and make an eternal impact in the lives of their friends and families. Taylor and his wife Shelby have been married for almost 4 years and have a daughter named Olivia Mae (Ollie or Mae Mae for short). Taylor graduated from Highlands College with a focus on Pastoral and Student Ministries. His favorite quote is from a late mentor, Pastor Kieth Lindsey, "We serve a Great BIG God and a itty bitty devil."


Stephen Robinson
Technical Director
Stephen may be a tall man now (6’ 4”), but he’s been part of this church since he was a very little boy. He’s served in just about every ministry team at the church, but he’s landed in the Tech team where he oversees all Audio, Video, and Lighting as well as the various technological needs of Generation. Stephen has a passion for seeing God’s truth triumph over everything else. His favorite quote is: “Don’t tell God how big your storm is. Tell the storm how big your God is.”
Maylin Thompson
Office Assistant
Maylin works in our office supporting the ministry of Generation and the administrative needs of our pastors. Dedicated to missions, she has spent years spreading God's truth and love around the world. Her goal in life is to ensure that every person she meets knows that they are loved and important. Her favorite quote is "It's no use going back to yesterday because I was a much different person then." - Lewis Carroll
Hélène Ost
Social Media Director
Hélène oversees all things social media at Generation Church. Her and her team's mission is to creatively and authentically share Generation on social media. One of Hélène's favorite quotes is from Max Lucado: "Quiet heroes dot the landscape of our society. They don’t make the headlines, but they do sew the hemlines and check the outlines and stand on the sidelines. You won’t find their names on the Nobel Prize short list, but you’ll find their names on the carpool, and Bible teacher lists. They are parents!  Heroes!  Their kids call them Mom. Dad. Succeed at home first."
Jen Easley
G-Kids Director, Nursery
Jen is responsible for providing a safe, welcoming space for the very youngest of the Generation Church family. She helps parents feel at ease when they leave their little ones in the Nursery. Jen and her husband, Eric, have three lovely daughters, two dogs and one cat. Jen is originally from Washington DC, but since her dad was in the Army and moved all over, she considers the world to be her hometown. Jen’s favorite quote is from Samwise Gamgee (JRR Tolkien): “In the end… this shadow, even darkness must pass. A new day will come, and when the sun shines, it will shine out the clearer.”
Chelsey Sexton
G-Kids Director, Preschool
Chelsey's passion is for kids! She leads the 2 to 5 year old Preschool Classes where she considers it an honor to pour into the lives of little ones with songs, interactive teachings, crafts, and much more. She is married to Pastor Adam, and together they have 5 kids. She’s extremely competitive and enjoys playing lots of board games and having a good time. Her favorite quote about the Bible is this, “Don’t just go through this book, let this book go through you."
Danielle Grubbs
G-Kids Director, 1st-5th Grade
Danielle runs Generation’s 1st-5th Grade Kids Church where she and her team use games, crafts, music, and video curriculum to have “Fun With Purpose.” Danielle has a passion for seeing God’s word come alive in her kids - the dozens in Kids Church and her and Ray’s two kids at home. Her favorite quote is from Amy Carmichael: “One can give without loving, but can’t love without giving.”
